Mexico Says Yes to Pigs But No to Wolverines
Hugh Jackman was supposed to be on a flight to Mexico on Wednesday, to promote his summer blockbuster film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but with cases of the swine flu going around, Jackman must keep his happy ass here in the states.
A rep for Twentieth Century Fox studios said, “We were not only concerned about Hugh’s welfare–and we would never send anyone into harm’s way–but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about. There was no point in proceeding under the current conditions.”
In other words, screw Hugh Jackman, we’re thinking about our own asses getting sick! Mexican government has asked residents to stay home. So no schooling, work, or going to the movies. Hell, what’s left to do?
We know they weren’t thinking about Wolverine, he has a healing factor!
